Ennis Music project is run by a voluntary committee dedicated to enabling young people from around the county an opportunity to develop their musical skills.
Aim of the project:
To Provide opportunities for musicians and musically minded people to showcase their talents. Provide a place for young people interested in music to express themselves and increase their skills.
Objectives of the Project:
- -Develop "Practice Space" for musicans
- -Develop high quality public performances for young bands
- -Run workshops using skilled professionals
- -Create a forum for new and innovative ideas
- -Provide access to musical and recording equipment
- -Ensure access to expertise, support, advice and information
Committee:
The project is organised by a committee with representatives from a variety of young bands operating in the area. The young people on the committee are supported by a number of staff and volunteers to develop the work of the project. The committee oversees the purchase of equipment, organisation of all performances and administration of training events.
